Compared to the "Brown Selvedge," the fabric has a deeper blue color and this deep hue can be retained for a longer period of time. Also, the fabric is woven at a setting with a lower tension compared to the "Brown Selvedge," so the uneven texture of the fabric becomes even more evident as the denim gets worn.
